VERBED is a strategic advisory firm. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices available to you. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act.
2. What we collect
We collect personal information in two ways. When you submit an inquiry or consultation request through a form on this site, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, company, role, and the details of your inquiry. When you browse the site, we collect limited technical and usage information through analytics, such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referral source.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate fit, schedule consultations, and communicate with you about our services. We use analytics information to understand how the site is used and to improve its content and performance. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information for purposes unrelated to those described here without your consent.
4. Analytics and cookies
We use our website platform’s built-in analytics, which operates without cookies, and Google Analytics, which uses cookies to measure site usage. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out tools. Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.
5. Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate this site and manage inquiries. These include our website hosting platform, a form processing provider, an automation service that transfers submissions, and our client relationship management system. Each provider processes information only as needed to perform its function on our behalf.
6. Where your information is stored
Some of our service providers store or process information outside of Canada, including in the United States. Where that occurs, your information is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We select providers that maintain appropriate safeguards for personal information.
7. How long we keep your information
We retain inquiry and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain our business relationship, and meet legal or administrative requirements. You may request deletion of your information at any time, and we will honour that request unless we are required to retain it.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our continued use of it. If you are located outside Canada, we will honour the rights available to you under the privacy laws of your jurisdiction. If you have unresolved concerns, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit access to your information to those who need it.

We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
